David Tudor

David Tudor was an American pianist and composer from Philadelphia who began his career in the 1950s, specialising in experimental and avant-garde music. After an early period focused on performing contemporary notated works he moved into live electronic and electroacoustic practice, building custom electronic systems and engaging in real-time sound production within post-war experimental music scenes.
