Alonso Lobo

Alonso Lobo was a Spanish composer of the late Renaissance, born in Osuna around 1555, who spent his career composing and directing music for Spanish cathedrals. His oeuvre consists primarily of sacred polyphony that blends contrapuntal clarity with expressive harmonic colouring and exemplifies Iberian liturgical style in the late 16th and early 17th centuries.
