Jennifer Vyvyan

Jennifer Vyvyan was an English operatic soprano who began her professional career in the 1940s and became associated with mid-20th-century British opera. Her repertoire combined lyric soprano roles and new works by contemporary British composers, and she took part in premieres, broadcasts and studio recordings that linked her to the post-war British operatic scene.
