Wolfgang Voigt

Wolfgang Voigt is a German electronic music producer from Cologne who began releasing music in the late 1980s and is associated with techno, ambient and experimental electronic genres. Recording under numerous aliases, he co-founded the Kompakt label and his Gas project is characterised by dense, looped, orchestral-like textures that blur ambient and techno and contributed to the development of the Cologne electronic scene.
