Émile Paladilhe
Émile Paladilhe was a French composer born in Montpellier in 1844 who made his career in Paris in the late 19th century, writing operas, mélodies (art songs), choral and sacred music. Working within the late Romantic French tradition, his music combined lyrical vocal writing with theatrical and liturgical forms and reflects the stylistic currents of French opera and salon repertoire of his era.
