Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra

The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra is a Canadian professional orchestra formed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1947 that performs orchestral repertoire spanning classical, contemporary, pops and film music. Its activities include commissioning new works, presenting film and pops programmes, educational outreach and recordings, and it contributes to the cultural life of Winnipeg and the surrounding region.
