John Frusciante

John Frusciante is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter born in New York City who began his professional career in the late 1980s and became associated with alternative rock and funk rock through his work with a prominent Los Angeles rock band and his solo releases. His musical style spans melodic, guitar-driven alternative rock, lo-fi singer-songwriter recordings and experimental electronic compositions, and his output has undergone marked evolution during periods of band involvement and solo exploration.
