Christian Lillinger is a German jazz drummer and composer who began his professional career in the early 2000s and works principally within contemporary and free jazz. His music combines polyrhythmic, high-energy drumming with intricate compositional frameworks, moving between free improvisation and composed material and contributing to contemporary European jazz and experimental music scenes.
