Brendan Canty

Brendan Canty is an American musician from Washington, D.C., who began his career in the early 1980s D.C. punk scene and has worked primarily in post-hardcore, punk and alternative rock contexts. His drumming is characterised by dynamic, texture-focused rhythmic patterns, and his later work expanded into composing for film and theatre, production and contributions to independent radio and soundtrack projects within the D.C. music community.
