Paavo Heininen

Paavo Heininen is a Finnish composer and pianist from Helsinki whose career began in the 1950s and who is associated with contemporary classical music. He taught composition at the Sibelius Academy and his output includes opera, orchestral, chamber and solo piano works that often employ serial and other modernist techniques.
