Paul Jeanjean
Paul Jeanjean was a French clarinettist and composer active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, associated with the French conservatoire tradition and noted for his focus on clarinet repertoire and pedagogy. His output, chiefly etudes, solo pieces and chamber works, emphasised technical development and musical expression within classical wind literature and continues to be used in clarinet teaching and performance practice.
