Billy Talbot is an American bassist and singer-songwriter from Brooklyn who began his career in the 1960s and is primarily associated with rock and country-rock through his long-standing work with the band Crazy Horse. His musical style emphasises driving electric bass lines and harmony vocals, and over his career he has incorporated folk and Americana elements into a guitar-centred, roots-oriented rock approach that has featured in the American rock landscape since the late 20th century.
