The Toronto Consort
The Toronto Consort are a Canadian early music ensemble formed in Toronto in the 1970s, specialising in medieval, Renaissance and early Baroque vocal and instrumental repertoire. They perform historically informed interpretations using period instruments and voices, and have contributed to Canada's early music scene through concerts, recordings and educational programmes that explore performance practice and historical context.
