Gaston Litaize

Gaston Litaize was a French organist and composer born in 1909 who began his career in the early 1930s and worked primarily within the French organ tradition. His compositions and teaching combined elements of the French organ school with mid-20th-century harmonic and rhythmic approaches, producing liturgical and concert works for organ, chamber ensembles and orchestra and contributing to organ repertoire and pedagogy.
