Robert Hood

Robert Hood is an American electronic musician from Detroit who began his career in the late 1980s within the city's techno scene and is associated with techno and minimal techno. His music emphasises stripped-down rhythms, sparse arrangements and repetition, a minimalist approach that became central to the minimal techno movement, while later projects incorporated house rhythms and gospel-influenced vocal elements.
