Donald Swann

Donald Swann was an English composer, pianist and songwriter born in London who began his career in the mid‑20th century and worked chiefly in comic song, cabaret and musical theatre. He developed a practice of setting poetry and literary texts to music and arranging witty, literate songs for radio and stage within the British light‑entertainment tradition.
