Geoffrey Bush
Geoffrey Bush was an English composer, teacher and musicologist born in London whose career as a composer and educator began in the mid-20th century within the classical tradition. Writing largely for voice, choir, chamber ensemble and piano, his work remained rooted in a tonal English art-music tradition with an emphasis on song settings, contrapuntal detail and involvement in music education and broadcasting.
