Oslo Sinfonietta is a Norwegian contemporary music ensemble formed in Oslo in 1986 that specialises in new music and chamber orchestra repertoire. Focusing on performances and commissions of contemporary and experimental works, the ensemble explores extended instrumental techniques, interdisciplinary collaborations and varied programmes that have contributed to the development of contemporary music in Norway and beyond.
