Karl Scheit

Karl Scheit was an Austrian classical guitarist, lutenist and pedagogue who began his career in the early 20th century, working as a performer, teacher and arranger within the classical and early plucked-instrument traditions. He produced numerous editions, method works and arrangements, contributing to the mid-20th-century revival and expansion of classical guitar and lute repertoire and emphasising historical approach and technical pedagogy.
