Gilbert Vinter

Gilbert Vinter was an English composer and conductor who began his career in the mid-20th century and specialised in brass band and wind ensemble repertoire. He wrote technically demanding test pieces and inventive arrangements that reflect the technical and expressive demands of post-war British brass band culture and have been used in contest repertoire.
