National Youth Orchestra of Scotland

The National Youth Orchestra of Scotland is a Scottish national youth orchestra formed in the mid-20th century to provide orchestral training for young musicians across Scotland, specialising in classical symphonic repertoire. Over time it has broadened its activities to include contemporary commissions, educational and outreach programmes and national and international performances, contributing to orchestral skill development and repertoire renewal within Scotland.
