Donnacha Dennehy

Donnacha Dennehy is an Irish composer from Cork who emerged in the late 1990s and is associated with contemporary classical and experimental music. His work blends modernist techniques, spectral and microtonal sonorities, electronics and elements drawn from Irish traditional music across operatic, choral and ensemble forms, and he has contributed to the development of new-music activity in Ireland and internationally.
