Pino Minafra
Pino Minafra is an Italian trumpeter and composer from southern Italy who began his career in the 1970s and is associated with avant-garde jazz and free improvisation. His work blends free improvisation, extended brass techniques and elements of Mediterranean folk and contemporary classical music, and he has participated in experimental ensembles and festival collaborations within the Italian avant-garde scene.
