Fred Van Hove

Fred Van Hove is a Belgian pianist, accordionist and composer who emerged from the 1960s free jazz and European free improvisation scenes. His work blended extended piano techniques, spontaneous group improvisation and elements of contemporary classical music, contributing to the development of collective improvisation practices within the European avant-garde jazz context.
