Medical drama The Pitt leans on sparse, carefully chosen needle-drops curated by music supervisor Ann Kline. Composer Gavin Brivik was asked to keep his score nearly imperceptible, blurring diegetic and non-diegetic sound so hospital noise does much of the emotional work. Closing song "Fail Forward" was written for the show by Brivik and Taji to mirror Dr. Robby's mood at the end of each shift.
