Intermezzi
Album by Johannes Brahms & Kun Woo Paik
The Intermezzi are sets of solo piano pieces by Johannes Brahms, published in 1892–1893. These late-Romantic miniatures are characterised by introspective lyricism, rich chromatic harmony and a restrained, elegiac tone, and they mark a shift in Brahms's late style towards more intimate, reflective piano writing.
