Symphony No. 8 is the eighth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1887 with a substantial revision in 1890. A late-Romantic orchestral work in four expansive movements, it is characterised by monumental structures, dense chromatic harmony, broad dynamic contrasts and prominent brass writing, and it represents the culmination of Bruckner's late symphonic technique within the 19th-century symphonic tradition.
