Symphony No. 2 is the second symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1872. The work is a large-scale Romantic orchestral symphony characterised by expansive brass writing, dense textures and broad developmental passages, and it occupies an early but formative place in Bruckner's symphonic output as he refined his distinctive structural and harmonic language.
