String Quartets

Album by Antonín Dvořák & Leoš Janáček & Artemis Quartet

String Quartets are a cycle of chamber works by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák, composed between 1873 and 1893. They employ late Romantic harmonies and Bohemian folk-derived melodic material, featuring lyrical themes, contrapuntal writing and varied textures that chart Dvořák's development from early nationalistic experiments to a mature chamber style.
