Pulse / Quartet

Pulse / Quartet is an album by American composer Steve Reich, released in 2019. It pairs two of Reich's later works that build on his minimalist techniques, featuring repetitive, interlocking rhythms, gradual process-based development and a blending of acoustic and amplified textures, and reflects his continued exploration of rhythm, phasing and timbral colour in the later stage of his career.
