The Message is an album by American tenor saxophonist Illinois Jacquet, released in 1963. It has a tenor-led jazz sound with swing and soul-jazz influences, blues-inflected phrasing and propulsive rhythmic grooves in a small-group setting, and is part of Jacquet's mid-career output after his 1940s and 1950s work.
