Symphony No. 4 "Romantic" is the fourth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1874. The work is a large-scale Romantic symphony characterised by expansive orchestration, prominent brass and sweeping string writing alongside pastoral gestures, and it shows Bruckner moving from earlier experiments toward the more monumental symphonies he composed later.
