Canto Ostinato is a composition by Dutch composer Simeon ten Holt, composed between 1976 and 1979. Written in a broadly minimalist idiom for multiple pianos and often arranged for other instrumentations, it employs extended, slowly evolving repetitive patterns and flexible timing, situating it within late 20th-century European minimalism and within ten Holt's mature output.
