Lieder is a collection of art songs by Austrian composer Franz Schubert, composed mainly in the 1810s and 1820s. The songs are written for voice and piano in the early Romantic style, with lyrical melodies, close attention to the text and rich harmonic colour, and they are a central part of Schubert's output that influenced the development of the art song in the 19th century.
