Album by Antonio Vivaldi & Johann Joachim Quantz & Johannes Walter & Kammerorchester der Staatskapelle Weimar & Dresdner Kammersolisten & Friedemann Bätzel
Flute Concertos is a collection of concertos by Italian Baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi, composed in the early 18th century. They exemplify Baroque concerto style, featuring virtuosic solo flute writing set against string ensemble and basso continuo, commonly structured around ritornello form with ornamented melodic lines, and form part of Vivaldi's contribution to the development of the solo concerto repertoire.
