Earthling is a 1997 studio album by David Bowie, recorded in New York with his touring band and co-produced by Bowie, Reeves Gabrels and Mark Plati, blending drum and bass, jungle, industrial rock and electronic music. Its lyrics explore technology, identity and alienation, and the cover features a Union Jack coat designed with Alexander McQueen.
