The Three String Quartets
Album by Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga & Quatuor Sine Nomine
The Three String Quartets is a collection of three string quartets by Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, composed around 1820-1822. They show Classical forms and clear melodic lines with early Romantic harmonic shifts, and they are among the few surviving chamber works from the composer's short career.
