Pièces de violes is a collection of pieces by French composer François Couperin, published in 1728. Written for the viol (viola da gamba) with basso continuo in the French baroque style, the collection blends ornamented melodic lines, dance forms and sustained bass patterns, and represents one of Couperin's later instrumental publications reflecting the French viol tradition.
