Symphony No. 1 in C minor is the first numbered symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1866. The work features expansive orchestral writing, broad symphonic structures and dense harmonic development with prominent brass writing, and marks an early stage in Bruckner's progression towards his later large-scale symphonies.
