Symphony No. 9 is the ninth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, his final symphony left unfinished at his death in 1896. A late-Romantic orchestral work, it features expansive structures, dense polyphony and rich orchestral colour that reflect a culmination of Bruckner's symphonic language, with an extant Adagio and an incomplete final movement that has shaped its performance and editorial history.
