Ballet Suites is a collection of orchestral suites by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, composed in the late 19th century (1875–1892). These suites distil music originally written for full-length ballets into orchestral pieces characterised by sweeping Romantic melodies, rich orchestration and dance-derived rhythms, and they figure prominently in the late Romantic ballet and orchestral repertoire.
