Flute Quartets
Album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart & Susan Milan & Chilingirian Quartet
Flute Quartets is a set of chamber works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed in 1777. They are scored for flute and a string trio and use classical-era chamber textures with clear melodic lines and light accompaniment, written during Mozart's Salzburg period when he composed for local amateur musicians and for the flute's rising role in chamber music.
