Sonatas

Album by Domenico Scarlatti & Charles Metz

Sonatas is a collection of keyboard sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti, composed in the early to mid 18th century. They belong to the Baroque keyboard repertoire and use binary forms, rapid figurations, hand crossing and Iberian dance rhythms, and they are part of Scarlatti's output in which he developed new keyboard techniques and harmonic language.
