Out There

Out There is an album by American jazz multi-instrumentalist Eric Dolphy, released in 1961. The music mixes hard bop foundations with early free jazz tendencies and features Dolphy on alto saxophone, bass clarinet and flute, and the release comes early in his career as he moves toward more open, angular improvisation.
