Symphony no. 4 in E-flat major

Symphony No. 4 in E-flat major is the fourth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1874. The work exemplifies Bruckner's late-Romantic orchestral style, characterised by expansive structures, broad brass writing, layered textures and contrasts between lyrical passages and monumental climaxes, and it occupies an important place in his symphonic output as a consolidation of his mature approach to form and orchestration.
