Chet Baker & Strings

Album by Chet Baker

Chet Baker & Strings is a studio album by American jazz trumpeter Chet Baker, released in 1954. It pairs Baker's trumpet with string arrangements to create a lyrical, mellow jazz sound that moves away from small-group West Coast cool jazz into orchestrated ballad settings and it came early in his career as one of his first records to use strings.
