Symphony no. 4

Symphony No. 4 is the fourth symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven, composed in 1806. The work in B-flat major, Op. 60, employs a conventional four-movement classical structure with relatively transparent orchestration and lyrical thematic interplay, and it occupies a transitional position in Beethoven's output between his more dramatic middle-period works and the expansive late symphonies.
