Olé Coltrane

Olé Coltrane is a studio album by American saxophonist John Coltrane, released in 1961. The album is rooted in modal jazz with Spanish and North African rhythmic elements and features extended improvisation alongside denser ensemble writing, and it was made as Coltrane moved into larger forms and increased harmonic exploration in the early 1960s.
