Black Saint

Black Saint is a studio album by American saxophonist Billy Harper, released in 1975. Musically, the album is rooted in post-bop and spiritual jazz and has extended modal improvisation and dense ensemble textures with prominent tenor saxophone throughout; it followed his earlier recordings and set the direction of his work in the mid 1970s.
