Avenue B is the eleventh studio album by American singer Iggy Pop, released in 1999. Musically it adopts a quieter, more introspective sound that draws on folk, blues and jazz influences with sparse arrangements and subdued vocals, marking a departure from the raw punk and garage rock energy of his earlier records and reflecting a late-1990s turn toward reflection in his solo career.
